Israel to blame for Arab Infanticide

Babies have been abandoned to die on rubbish tips or in the street because the Israeli security wall that now hems in the West Bank city makes it difficult for distressed mothers to reach the Holy Family Children’s Home.

Social workers also report that Palestinian Muslims are now more reluctant to rely on a Christian institution in the post-September 11 climate of distrust between the faiths….

And there mothers didn’t have anything to do with it; it was because of the Security Wall.

Christians are fleeing Palestinian areas because of muslim thuggery and threat of assassination considering the recent plight of the Christian bookstore owner, and Muslims distrust Christians because they’ve been taught to distrust the infidel.

Unmarried mothers or young Muslim women pregnant by non-Muslim men would flee in fear of their lives from so-called honour killings where members of their family would rather kill them than have their name tarnished.

There are no muslim orphanages because adoption is illegal. Which to a Westerner, would seem like a viable option.

Muslims would rather marry children than adopt them…like Mohammed and his 6-year-old bride, Aisha.

I’ve often wondered what consummating a marriage with a child does to a young girl’s pelvic bones.

The Guardian’s Ajmal Masroor wonders why Tony Blair converted to Catholicism when he could have chosen Islam.

Robert Spencer muses on that thought and poses these questions.

Of course, this magnificent vision of a peaceful and tolerant Islam is completely at odds with the actual historical record of jihad warfare against non-Muslims and the oppression of the dhimmis, but the really noteworthy thing is that this bit of Islamic apologetic propaganda appears in The Guardian.

It’s no surprise, really: after all, The Guardian publishes Ali Eteraz, Karen Armstrong, Ed Husain, Inayat Bunglawala, and others. But do you think that The Guardian would publish a piece touting Christianity and criticizing Islam? Do you think that if I wrote a detailed rebuttal to this piece by Ajmal Masroor, that The Guardian would print it?

I think you know the answer to both of those questions. And so here’s another question: why has The Guardian allowed itself to become a mouthpiece for Islamic proselytizing?

Amusing…Yorkshire police awarded for reducing global warming

West Yorkshire Police Plays Its Part in Reducing Global Warming

West Yorkshire Police have received an accreditation award from the National Energy Foundation for achievements in energy efficiency.

It’s in recognition of the Force reducing its energy year on year and also for having the policies, strategies and organisational abilities to manage its energy efficiently.

World record breaking yachtswoman, Dame Ellen MacArthur handed over the award to West Yorkshire Police Energy Manager George Smith at a presentation evening in London last week.

Energy Manager, George Smith says issues concerning the environment are now under the spotlight more than ever.

“There is a great expectation from the Climate Change Summit, held in Bali last week that all countries will sign up to targets for tackling climate change.
The world’s climate is changing and the scientists say that this is due to the increase in man made carbon dioxide being emitted into the atmosphere.”

“At West Yorkshire Police we are playing our part in reducing the amount of carbon dioxide we are directly responsible for. In the last four years we have reduced the gas and electricity we use, which represents a significant 10% decrease in carbon dioxide to atmosphere. This is even more significant when taking into account the increase in Police numbers and properties we occupy.”

This is enough to get out the bucket. Personally, I subscribe to Lord Monckton’s view…the inconvenient truth of which, they completely omit.

I’m sure the jihadists running around England appreciate bobbies working in the dark to achieve this impossible feat.

Palestinian suicide bomber dvd for sale

The Yorkshire Post has obtained a disc of music videos – part of an Egyptian-made series – in which a young girl sings about following in the footsteps of her suicide bomber mother. A group of self-proclaimed orphans also rail against the West over the plight of the Palestinian people.

The children’s DVD was purchased in Bradford and full details of the Leeds-based UK distributors are contained on the back of the cover.

The Yorkshire Post has handed over the material to the West Yorkshire Police specialist counter terrorism unit, and officers have confirmed that they are investigating the contents.

One would hope so.

The first song is about two children who lose their mother when she becomes a suicide bomber. It believed to be a reference to Reem al-Reyashi, a 22-year-old Palestinian mother-of- two who blew herself up on January 14, 2004, at a crossing, in the Gaza Strip, killing four Israelis.

Thanks to the money the US government is sending the PLO.

“The principle is fundamental civil liberties. You cannot have people detained for years on end and with no end in sight on the basis of the philosophy the US uses.”

He also said that Guantanamo Bay prison should be closed, as it is a “recruiting sergeant” for terrorists.

Whether or not they’re dangerous is not the point, he says. I don’t agree with that.

This couple not only pulled the wool of the eyes of their sons, but the media wonder why John Darwin left in the first place.

His wife sold their property for over a million pounds, and moved to Panama where she met up with her husband. They’ve been living there, reportedly. Why he turned himself in is a mystery. How he could imagine that people would believe he had amnesia is another mystery. But I trust she and her husband found a way to spend the insurance money she received after he was declared dead. He went missing on the phony canoe trip…it’s quite the dramatic tale.

This was an insurance scam. We needn’t wonder about it.

Police are awaiting the return of the wife of back-from-the-dead canoeist John Darwin as they continue to question him over his disappearance five-and-a-half years ago.

Detectives have until late on Saturday to continue to quiz the 57-year-old former teacher about where he has been since he vanished from the Hartlepool area in March 2002.

His wife Anne, 55, who emigrated to Panama six weeks ago, will also be arrested should she return to the UK.

UK Courts Rules for of Iranian Group

LONDON (AP) — A British court ordered an Iranian opposition group removed from the government’s list of terrorist organizations Friday, potentially giving one of the Iranian government’s fiercest foes more freedom to organize and raise money in Britain.

The People’s Mujahedeen of Iran is considered a terrorist organization in the United States and European Union and experts say it has trained operatives devoted to toppling the Iranian regime.

The article says “Originally a Marxist-Islamist group”….no doubt sympathies these days are running high toward people of that ideology, particular among fellow leftists…

the ‘killing’ of Mohammed al Durah

Brought to us by Melanie Phillips at the Spectator is quite the scandal in a french court.

Philippe Karsenty is the founder of a French media watchdog called Media Ratings. Media Ratings accused French 2 of staging the al Durah “killing” and called for the resignation of some of France 2’s employees, namely Charles Enderlin, and the News Director, Arlette Chabot. France 2 and Enderlin in turn, sued Karsenty for defamation and won, and even Jacques Chirac himself intervened at one point. Karsenty appealed, and the judge ordered France 2 to produce the unscreened footage of the incident, which was produced on November 11th.

What is produced was only a part-18 minutes- of the 27 minutes. But as seen from the footage, there is no evidence that anyone was killed or injured in what appears to be 45 minutes of fictional continuous shooting by Israeli soldiers. By the end of the footage, it seems the kid is very much alive and is moving, and unmarked by any wound.

The ‘killing’ of Mohammed al Durah was swallowed uncritically by the western media, despite the manifold unlikeliness and contradictions which were apparent from the start, because it accorded with the murderous prejudice against Israel which is the prism through which the Middle East conflict is habitually refracted. This scandal has the most profound implications not just for the media, not just for the Middle East conflict but for the western world’s relationship to reason, which seems to grow more tenuous by the day.
